Janurary favourites !

Hello everyone , I hope you're all having a lovely day :) As February is fast approaching , I thought I would share with you what I have been loving through Janurary and recommend music , film and beauty bits and bobs to you all . 

Music

I have been listening to a lot of new music lately and so have quite a lot of new favourite songs / artists 

• Justin Bieber - I love the album Purpose as a whole but I'd say my favourite songs from the album are ' Sorry ' and ' Where are you now ' 

•Troye Sivan - I've listened to the odd song of his every now and again but towards the end of this month I have been listening to his album ' Blue Neighbourhood' and I am OBSESSED - my favourite songs are 'Wild ' and ' Youth ' , I really wish I was going to see him in concert !  

• Made in the AM by One Direction is my favourite album at the Moment , the songs are very uplifting :) 

• It will be of no suprise to you that my favourite cover of the month is by Hobbie Stuart - His most recent cover , a remix of Justin Biebers ' Love yourself ' and Coldplays ' Magic ' is incredible :) 

• My favourite songs of the month are 'Stitches' by Shawn mendes and ' Riptide ' by Vance Joy 

• And last but not least , my favourite music video of January has got to be One Direction's music video for their song history ! 

Film 

I only have one film favourite from this month and that film is ' Leon ' which has Natalie Portman and Jean Reno in . The story line is amazing and I would highly recommend this film - it's now up there with my favourite films of all time !

Beauty 

I don't have many beauty favourites from this month but there are one or two .. 

• EOS lip balm - very moisturizing through this cold weather ( I cannot wait for summer ! ) 

• Body Shop eau de toilette in the scent black musk - you will have seen this already if you read my previous blog post - I love this scent so so much 

My favourite makeup brand of this month has been Collection - it is a very affordable brand and I think the products are good quality for such low prices .

Recent purchases haul

Hello everyone ! I hope you're all having a lovely day :) After receiving Money for Christmas I have been shopping on quite a few occasions so I thought I would share with you what I have picked up recently ! 

Beauty / makeup 

• Collection work the colour purple eye palette - I have been looking for a lilac shade eye shadow for so long now and so I am very happy to have got this ( for only £4 too ! )

• Collection eyes uncovered nude bronze palette 

• Maybelline baby lips lip balm in ' melon mania ' 

• Soap and glory sexy mother pucker gloss stick in ' pink-a-boo' 

• Rimmel lasting finish lip stick in ' Asia ' / number 077 

• Nivea pure and natural milk and honey lip balm which I am so happy to have back in my life as this is my holy grail lip balm , especially through the cold winter months 

•Soap and glory supercat eyeliner pen ( which I am SO bad at using ) 

• The Body Shop Eau De Toilette ' Black Musk ' - this smells so nice , it has a very musky vanilla scent which I love :) 

Books , Films , and music 

Books 

•Paisley Design colouring book - colouring is a very good way to destress , I would highly recommending investing in a colouring book like this one ! You can get them for very cheap :) 

• ' Calm ' - this book is AMAZING , it gives lots and lots of tips on how to deal with anger , high stress levels , anxiety and a variety of other negative emotions . I would really recommend this book to anyone , as everyone experiences negative emotions on a daily basis but not everyone knows how to deal with them - this book will help with that :) 

Films 

• Girl Interrupted ( thanks to my good friend Ruby for the recommendation )

• Love actually 

• 2012 ( I've seen this once and it terrified me hmmm) 

Music 

• Jess Glynne - I cry when I laugh 

•New Sony in ear headphones which weren't very photogenic 

I also got the Yankee candle shown in the photo above in the scent ' Pain Au Rasin ' and this watch from Urban outfitters which I love so much !

My 2016 goals

Hello everyone ! I hope you are all well and had a lovely New Year .

There are lots of things I would like to achieve this year so I thought I would do a blog post on my goals of 2016 and then I can look back on this post at the end of the year and see how many of my goals I completed . 

• Over come my shyness and come out of my shell a lot more 

• Get my ears pierced 

• See Hobbie Stuart perform / meet him again 

• Improve my grades at college 

•Meet Gabriella Lindley 

• Save up to buy a laptop 

• Let go of all negative people in my life 

• Reach 10 thousand views on my blog by the end of the year 

•Learn to drive 

• Get a job ( preferably an art based job ) 

• Stop worrying so much about what other people think of me 

• Do at least one act of kindness a day 

• Try to travel as much as is possible
